Project Management of Design Build
Once the design process is complete and the Final Design is approved by the client, this typically marks the conclusion of our Designer's involvement.
A landscaper can utilise the documents produced by us to build the design.
However, depending on the complexity of the project, either the client or the landscaper may feel it's beneficial for the Designer to remain involved during the build phase.
This could include initial meetings between the client, landscaper, and Designer, along with periodic visits at critical stages, ensuring the garden is constructed as intended and addressing any unforeseen challenges promptly.
Below are the various steps that summarises the Project Management of Design Build process:
-
Initial meeting between the client, the landscaper and the Designer to ensure all elements of the design are understood
-
Visits scheduled for key points of the build phase, such as measuring up and marking out the design
-
Talk through with the landscaper any specific features that require further detail regards construction
-
Be a liason between the client and the landscaper
-
Ensure that the client is informed of any unforeseen obstacles so that a solution can be dealt with swiftly.
